How much does UK delivery cost?


All orders over £75 are sent with FREE UK delivery

Orders under £75 are charged at a rate similar to the Royal Mail 1st class ‘packet’ tariff (as this is how most of our smaller items are sent). As an example DVD’s cost £1.38 for delivery and most frames £2.92



How long will my delivery take?


'Estimated Delivery Times' will be displayed for each product in its product description.

If your particular estimated delivery time is a bit wishy-washy (like ‘1-5 days’) you can always just email or call us for a more accurate idea!



Orders are ALWAYS dealt with IMMEDIATELY, whether they are an item that is in stock or an item that needs to be ordered into stock



How will my order be sent?


Large items (mainly skates)
will be sent on a Next Working-Day courier service.
We now use Fed-Ex for this service to try and avoid less reliable budget courier firms.

Smaller items are mainly sent by 1st class Royal Mail



What about orders from outside of the UK?


The cost of deliveries to outside the UK will depend on the weight of the package and where it is going to. You will find out this value at the payment stage of your transaction before you enter your card details.

Here are some examples of delivery charges for a pair of skates to be sent outside of the UK:

U.S.A. - £30 (3-5 working days)
Japan - £40 (3-5 working days)
France - £15 (2-3 working days)
China - £85 (5-7 working days)
Dubai - £55 (3-5 working days)
Australia - £40 (5-7 working days)
Spain - £20 (3-5 working days)



Things you might want to know about your delivery

  • Courier Deliveries will arrive with you between 9am and 5:30pm. We cannot specify at what time they will be delivered although it's usually before 2pm and very often before 12 noon.
  • If you are not in to sign for your courier delivery then the driver should leave you a card with instructions on it. It is most likely that they will try to re-deliver the next day. They will try and re-deliver 3 times. If unsuccessfull the you will have to contact your local Fed-Ex depot and arrange to pick up the package
  • The 'Estimated Delivery Times' displayed for each product are almost always accurate although this may be subject to change if that particular product has been subject to high demand that day



Returns

  • If an item is faulty or an order is wrong then we will arrange for collection and replacement at our cost.
  • If your order is wrong as a result of a mistake on our part then you are entitled to a 20% refund on that item in line with our '20% Cashback' offer. Please ask for the 20% Cashback in order to take advantage of this. We are pretty unlikely to get it wrong though!
  • If you have bought the wrong size item then we will swap it for the correct size without charging you for re-delivery. We will only do this once per transaction. You will have to cover the cost of sending the item back to us.
  • We do not offer refunds for items that are not faulty
  • You may swap an item if it is completely unused and in it's original packaging. You will incurr charges for any extra delivery costs (except for in the case of using our 'Free Size Swap' offer)
  • All goods are covered by a 14 day guarantee against immediate manufacturing defects. Most products however are covered by a year's guarantee against manufacturing defects although it will be up to our discretion whether or not a product malfunction has been the result of everyday wear and tear
  • Items that are damaged or broken due to the destructive nature of skating can obviously not be replaced free of charge



Payment Info

  • Loco accepts all major credit cards including MASTERCARD, MAESTRO, VISA, VISA ELECTRON, SOLO, SWITCH, JCB and also AMERICAN EXPRESS
  • Loco uses Protx Payment Gateway to process our online payments. As a result of this we never come into contact with your card details. This means your personal details are kept as secure and safe as possible. All good online shops use a 3rd party Payment Service Provider to process their online sales
  • Loco will accept cheques and cash by recorded post for those who do not have access to a credit card. Cheques should be made payable to 'Loco Skates'. Items will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared. If you don’t own a credit card LocoSkates suggests you sit at the back of the class for a while and think about what you’ve done.



Privacy Policy


Loco Skates will not expose buyers personal information to any third parties in accordance with Data Protection Act 1998. Merchant copies of credit card receipts are kept in a safe and secure environment. These have to be kept on record to comply with taxation laws and works the same for all other retailers. Your E-mail address will be kept for future events, news and information posts we think might be of interest to our customers. You will not be inundated with junk mail from us and will be given the option to be taken off our mailing list with each mail we send to you.
