No prizes for guessing that Rollerblade were the first company to successfully market and release the inline skate (as early as the mid eighties). The brand would actually prefer you to use the term 'inline skating' so that they keep their brand identity... (Like Hoover and Sellotape) but as it happens; the people spoke! Rollerblade's range of skates spans from affordable recreational skate models coming in at around the £100 mark to a hugely popular range of higher-end freestyle models using hard plastic moulded shells, namely the Rollerblade Twister Edge skates, the Rollerblade RB80 and the Rollerblade Lightning ranges.
